LiveArea Takes Home Eight AVA Digital Awards

Awards season is in full swing and LiveArea is in the mix. This week we brought home eight AVA Digital Awards – three platinum and five gold awards – honoring our excellence in digital creativity, branding and strategy.

Seven of the awards honor a digital solution we designed and delivered to CrocsTM in a creative partnership. Fans of the shoes – and there are millions around the world – can customize their clogs using the online JibbitzTM Personalizer, a fun and interactive tool that turns each clog into a canvas. The palette includes hundreds of charms — everything from characters and food, to letters, numbers, sports, sayings, and more. Using the tool, customers select and place charms in a visual representation of the shoe, and, ultimately, purchase the items. It’s as easy as one, two, three.

In addition to designing and implementing the configuration tool, LiveArea produced an award-winning promotional video on the accessories. The video won a platinum award for special effects and animation. Other Crocs platinum and gold awards include:

As a global customer experience and commerce agency, LiveArea’s mission is to deliver inspired interactions and elevated commerce. Our site was recognized for its beauty and the craft of its front-end journey, designed to engage with users in a meaningful and intuitive way.

We’ve designed digital experiences for brands around the world and we take great pride in our work. Nothing is more satisfying than a satisfied client. But this award is very special to us and we are proud to have earned this recognition.

About the AVA Digital Awards

AVA Digital Awards recognize outstanding work by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design, and production of media. Work ranges from audio and video productions – to websites that present interactive components such as video, animation, blogs, and podcasts – to interactive social media sites.

There are 227 categories, encompassing digital marketing, web, television, video, audio communication, and electronic, social and interactive media. Other tops winners this year include Cisco Systems, Deloitte, Fender, Hilton, Marriott, Microsoft, Pepsi, Salesforce and many more. This year there were 2,500 entries from throughout the United States, Canada, and 23 other countries. Sixteen percent of the entries won platinum awards and around 21 percent won gold awards. Approximately eight percent were honorable mention winners.

The international awards are administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). Judges are industry professionals looking for creative work demonstrating a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.
